A Not-Very Pleasent Flight with Batik Air ID 6346 (CGK-SRG)

Batik Air Business Class Cabin

     Couple weeks ago I was flying with Batik Air from Jakarta to Semarang with Batik Air business class. 2 Days before the flight I receive text message from Batik Air that ask me “Did I want to use personal assistant in the airport”. Absoluetly yes !. I arrived at the airport 2 hours before departure. After passing first security check , one of Batik Air personal assistant greet me and introducing herself. Her name was Ani. She was my personal assistant today. Before check in she asked me where I want to seat. Like the other flight I choose seat 3A. After check in she escort me direct to the lounge. Unlike Garuda, Batik Air business class passanger didn’t have their own security check so we have to queue like the economy class passanger. Luckily today I was accompanied by personal assistant so I can pass the security check without queuing up.

     Batik Air business class lounge was a simple lounge. It only have seating area , toilet and buffet area. For today menu Batik Air business class lounge have noodle , nugget , cake selection , and fried banana. For drinks have mineral water,coffe, tea , and milk.

     The flight was delayed for 20 minutes due to operational reason. Business class passanger board to the aircraft 5 minutes before economy class. Today fleet was Boeing 737-800NG (PK-LBY). A warm greeting from the flight attendant in aircraft door. The flight attendant escort me to my seat and help me to put my cabin baggage in compartment above. After that the flight attendant ask me what drink that I want to choose for the welcome drink. I choose the vegetable juice. Shortly after the flight attendant bring the welcome drink , peanut and hot towel. The boarding process was fast. It only take 15 minutes. The boarding process completed and the aircraft star pushback and taxi. The take off process was rough due to bad weather. The seat belt sign is off and the flight attendant start preparing for the inflight service. First the flight attendant distributed headphone for business class passanger. But I rather to use my own headphone than use the headphone that distribute by flight attendant. While distributed headphone another flight attendant came to me and preparing dinner. Because Jakarta Semarang flight only 53 minutes so we only get snack for dinner. Today menu was bread,muffin, and lumpia. I thought the lumpia taste better than the other snack. I finish my dinner quick and start to change the seat into relax position. Suddenly the footrest extender button was broken so I cant extend the footrest. I was enjoy watching glee for the rest of the flight. Before landing I went to toilet. The toilet was clean.The plane landed at 18.54 pm.

    The plane is stop and the door open. Business class passanger disembark first. When we disembark Batik Air personal assistant waiting in stairs and collecting our ticket to see our baggage number and they will pick up our bagagge. We only 5 minutes until our baggage come.

     Overall it was a very pleasant flight. But I think there was several things need to be improved , like the seat button .
